So the parlance mutator? Wow that sounds better. The last i did C++ we were calling them setters and ‘mutators’ were just actions…

javascript is easier? you must not be aware about what Rich Internet Applications are. are you? I’m a front-end programmer and most of my coworkers who program in other languages as PHP don’t think javascript is easier, even are afraid of front-end programming when it comes to big proyects.

However, it is possible to make direct branches to locations within HTML.
This does not make it a real programming language, but it is not completely passive either.

Right HTML is not a programming language.
Though you can include bits of java in HTML, which is a programming language; but it remains simple programming.

HTML is not a programming language….
If you really want to learn a “web based” programming language learn PHP, ASP,
Or if you want something easier learn Javascript/Ajax; HTML itself is not a programming language.

Thank you for this tutorial. As a complete beginner I found it very helpful and easy to follow. Are you going to do one on javascript please?

I wish you would use a computer screen to go over your explanations instead of a board. Too messy.

No it’s not and HTML 5 is still not going to be considered a programming language.
